For decades, the Caves & Bears secret existed only within one family.
Born around holiday tables in Western Australia, this unusual dice game challenged players to discover a hidden pattern concealed within three ordinary dice. Children, cousins, friends, parents, grandparents—even entire rooms full of adults—would scribble notes, compare theories, and chase clues in an attempt to solve the mystery.
Those who believed they'd cracked it could request The Test. Success meant initiation into a secret society, complete with an oath, a Seal of Guardianship, and the promise to never reveal the secrets of the caves and the bears.
