Imagine joyful deep-dives into movies through a neurodivergent lens; the kind of conversations that happen when someone is speaking about a special interest. Whether the neurodivergent coding is explicit, implied, accidental, or hotly debated, we'll explore the characters, themes, representation, and big questions that linger long after the credits roll.

This won't be a recap podcast.

Or a 'Top 10 Movies' podcast.

​

And it's definitely not about deciding whether a film is objectively good or bad.

​

Instead, each episode will feature a spoiler-filled Film Club discussion examining movies that resonate with neurodivergent audiences. Together, we'll explore what these stories can tell us about difference, belonging, identity, relationships, disability, mental health, and the wonderfully complicated business of being human.

​

We'll also debate the possible presence of neurodivergent character coding, provide an abundance of fun facts, and share lived experience anecdotes related to the film themes.

​

Expect strong feelings, spirited debates, occasional profanity, moments of validation, and the kind of gloriously chaotic conversations that happen when nobody in the room does 'typical.'

This podcast will be hosted by Mama Bear of Caves & Bears Neurodivergent Media, with occasional special guests dropping by to enrich the conversation.
